“The Eastern Produce Council and PRODUCE BUSINESS magazine present an exciting world-class event for the industry.” (About the, 2021) The New York Produce Show is an annual produce show. However, because of its location in New York City it is also one of the biggest produce shows in the world. It is where veterans of the produce business go to keep themselves on top of the game. It is also a show for newcomers to the produce industry so they can learn the skills they need to succeed in this business. Santa Claus is actually gonna be there which is crazy, because he is probably one of the biggest celebrities in the world. On the New York Produce Show website, it says culinary students will be in attendance, so hopefully this means we’ll be able to sample some of the new freshly harvested produce.
Since this produce show is one of the biggest produce shows in the world, that means ample opportunities for networking. People from all over the world will be here, so if you’re a college graduate looking for a job overseas involving produce, definitely come to this show. There will be a special breakfast on December 15th. During this breakfast there will be a panel of “thought leaders”. The panel is hosted by Perishable Pundit, Jim Prevor.
